Realme’s flagship killer is sold for only 253 € on Cdiscount – Frandroid

The Realme GT Master Edition is the most affordable flagship killer at the time of this writing, and this is all the more true today since its price goes from 349 euros to only 253 euros on Cdiscount, for the version with 128 GB of storage.

At Realme, the mention “Master Edition” of its recent mid-range smartphone results in a lighter version of the classic Realme GT. There are still premium components for the screen or fast charging and the like, but the bill is just a little lower, especially at this time with a reduction of almost 100 euros.

Common points with the Realme GT

As said before, the Realme GT Master Edition is a model a little more modest than the smartphone from which it is inspired. It therefore obviously takes some good elements of its big brother, such as the excellent Super AMOLED screen in order to observe superb infinite contrasts on a diagonal of 6.43 inches. The panel also displays a Full HD + definition of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz to further improve the viewing experience.

For the photo, the two smartphones are also housed in the same boat with a triplet of 64 + 8 + 2 megapixels, even if the main sensor is a little larger on the Master Edition version. It is not necessarily the photophone of the year, but it still offers to capture pleasant scenes when the right light conditions are met. It can also shoot up to 4K at 60 frames per second. On the other hand, selfies are in the spotlight, since the front camera goes from 16 to 32 megapixels.

What are the differences ?

the Classic Realme GT offers a power as high as the best flagships of the moment by integrating the Snapdragon 888, but this is not the case with this Master Edition sold for less. There is still a powerful mid-range processor from Qualcomm, namely the Snapdragon 778G supported by 6 GB of life memory. This configuration dedicated to gaming offers a smooth gaming experience with graphics pushed to the maximum on most titles of the Play store, while obviously offering an interface without daily slowdowns. In addition, it also allows this smartphone to be compatible with the 5G network.

Autonomy is also different on paper, since the Realme GT has a 4,500 mAh battery while the Master Edition version includes an accumulator with 200 mAh less. But, in fact, it is roughly similar since the SoC consumes much less energy. However, we appreciate finding the same ultra-efficient fast charging system, called Super Dart 65 W, which allows you to go from 0 to 100% in just 30 minutes.
