Google, EU Court confirms 2.42 billion fine

The EU Court confirms the fine of 2.42 billion to Google. The Court completely rejects Google’s appeal against the decision of the European Commission, according to which the Mountain View giant has abused its dominant position by favoring its own comparative shopping service over competing services. The Court therefore confirms the fine of € 2.42 billion imposed on Google. The appeal was filed by both Google and the parent company Alphabet.
