Malala Yousafzai got married, the announcement of the Nobel Prize

Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai has announced her marriage to her fiancé Asser Malik in Great Britain. The Pakistani activist, who was wounded in the head by a Taliban hitman in 2012 for his campaign for girls’ schooling, revealed his wedding in a tweet. Yousafzai, now 24, said the ceremony, which was attended by family and friends, took place at her home in Birmingham. The photos show her in a pink suit, while the groom wore a tie of the same color. Yousafzai became the youngest person ever to be awarded a Nobel Prize in 2014, for her commitment to the universal right to education for girls. Last year she graduated from Oxford University with a degree in philosophy, politics and economics, and the young activist also established the Malala Fund, to support education for girls around the world.
