Brothers Peter and Juraj Saganovci will still continue their cycling careers in the joint team next year.

In addition to leader Peter Sagan, the French team TotalEnergies also hired his older brother Juraj, although two months ago there was no indication.

During the September races Around Slovakia, Juraj Sagan, like another Slovak Erik Baška, stated that the pro-continental French team did not count on his services and his manager was looking for other options.

Juraj Sagan, 32, accompanies Petr Sagan throughout his professional career, which dates back to 2009.

Together they went through the teams Liqugas, Cannondale, Tinkoff Saxo, resp. Tinkoff and have spent the last five seasons together in a Bora-Hansgrohe jersey.

Juraj Sagan is a welcome domestic for one-off races, but also sprinting, resp. slightly undulating stages of longer races.

During his professional career, he became the champion of Slovakia four times in a race with a mass start, in one of the stages at the Tour de Langkawi 2016 in Malaysia he finished second and a year later finished fourteenth in the great Flemish classic Gent-Wevelgem.
