However, according to the latest reports, we will not enjoy the pleasant weather for so long. Meteorologists warn of the arrival of Arctic air!

As they added, for Slovaks, this means that at the same time relatively high temperatures can drop well below zero.

At a pressure of 850 hPa, the temperatures are currently at the level of 10 degrees Celsius, from next week it may be -5 degrees Celsius. “For temperatures of 2 meters, this would mean a decrease from the current daily average (approx. + 7 ° C) to + 0 ° C and the night average from + 4 ° C to -5 ° C,” the portal stated that in mountain areas night temperatures can drop to -10 degrees Celsius, and the lowlands can experience severe frosts.

Until now, the rule was that when it came to snow, it mainly concerned our mountains and higher elevations.
