Košice County strengthens vaccination teams in Košice and smaller villages – Korzár Košice

KOŠICE. During the current week, the Košice self-governing region (KSK) will strengthen, in particular, outpatient vaccination against the disease covid-19. Paramedics will start giving the first, second and third doses vaccines residents directly in their municipality or city.

“Districts in the Košice region are trying to reverse the unfavorable color of the covid vending machine and avoid black, which means stricter rules for individuals, mass events, but also other restrictions or closures of restaurants and other establishments. The county therefore goes to be vaccinated every day of the week, even in several places at once. Especially those interested in the first dose of the vaccine will have several additional vaccination sites available in Košice, “said KSK Chairman Rastislav Trnka (independent).

The vaccination bus will be available during the week in Rožňava, Trebišov, Dobšiná, Kráľovský Chlmec, Čierna nad Tisou, Veľké Kapušany and Michalovce. Residents will find it in Košice from Tuesday to Friday from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm at the shopping center in the West part, at the Lower Gate on Hlavná street, at the Tip Top resort and on Alžbetiná street, on Saturday morning also at the department store in the North.

To the villages

Vaccination through the mobile vaccination service will also take place in municipalities that have reported interest in the region.

Paramedics administer vaccines in Prakovce, Nálepkovo, Jaklovce, Kluknava or Rozhanovce, for example. Regional vaccination teams will once again go to vaccinate clients and employees of social services facilities, as well as high school students and their teachers.

Those interested can still use the vaccination booths in three shopping centers in Košice and one shopping center in Spišská Nová Ves. Last week, the region also prepared the opportunity to undergo vaccinations at the railway station in Košice.

In all public places, those interested have a choice of a single-dose Janssen vaccine from Johnson & Johnson or a vaccine from Pfizer / BioNTech. Vaccination of all three doses of vaccines from Moderna will be carried out as part of the field trip only in Spišská Nová Ves, on Monday 15 November in the vaccination bus at the Sports Hall near the Hotel Academy.

“We recommend that all those interested in the third dose of the vaccine register for vaccination via the application form on the korona.gov.sk website,” said Anna Terezková, a spokeswoman for the KSK chairman.

During the weekend, the gates of the large-capacity vaccination center in Košice will open again.
