Separate, yes, but without ceasing to live under the same roof. This unusual choice they made by deciding to end their relationship, the actors Romane Bohringer and Philippe Rebbot began to tell, in 2018, in Fuzzy love. A nice self-fictional and self-produced film that evoked the incredible construction of their “separate” – an apartment for mum, another for dad, the two linked only by the bedroom of their children, Rose and Raoul. A way for everyone to live their life … without cutting bridges, or completely upsetting the family balance. Three years later, what conclusions can we draw from this life that is both disjointed and common? To this question, an irresistible series co-written by the two main stakeholders comes to provide a multitude of answers, sometimes hilarious, sometimes disarming, halfway between fiction and reality. When did the idea of ​​giving a sequel to your film come about, and why did you do it by creating a series?
The film met with the support of the public. We could clearly see, at the end of the presentations in the theaters, that the spectators were very curious about this, say, original way of reinventing the family. And inevitably they told us: “But we want to know the rest! We want to know if it works, if it is possible to live sustainably like that, to ” start a new life “ “ – this expression that Philippe hates so much… Our producers, Sophie Révil and Denis Carot, have surveyed us: are we continuing? For Philippe and me, it was then unthinkable. We had the feeling of having made the film on a spontaneous impetus, like a somewhat testamentary gesture of our history, but not really of having made cinema. So everyone started by turning their backs on this possibility. And then, two years later, Vera Peltekian and Fabrice de la Patellière, from Canal +, came back to titillate us …
