Charlene of Monaco filmed before her jet return: her last words in front of the camera on the South African tarmac

After more than six months of absence, Princess Charlene of Monaco is finally back on the Rock. Before leaving South Africa, she sent a warm message to everyone involved in her recovery.

Finally back. Prince Albert II had promised that his wife Charlene of Monaco would be back before the National Day of the Rock, and he kept his word. The Princess of Monaco returned home on November 8, after more than six months in South Africa. A journey that was only to last a few days was in fact prolonged for many weeks because of a serious ENT infection which prevented Charlene from Monaco from flying. Completely recovered after several operations, the wife of Prince Albert II was finally able to return to Monaco. But before that, before even taking her private jet back to France, she sent a message to South Africa and a few people in particular.

A video was posted on the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation Safrica Twitter account on which we can see the last moments ofPrincess on South African soil, as well as his words. “I have had a very difficult time here over the past few months. But at the same time, it was also really amazing to be back in South Africa. I would like to thank all the doctors who have done an amazing job taking care of me. I can’t wait to be reunited with my children. Thank you to all of South Africa, thank you everyone and God bless you“.

The first reunion since August

As a reminder, Charlene of Monaco was blocked in South Africa since May, and the last family reunion was in August. So it is with an undisguised joy that she was able to find, this November 8, her two children Gabriella and Jacques – who welcomed her with a bouquet of flowers – as well as her husband, Prince Albert II. The children also had the good surprise to discover a guest with their mother: a puppy who was given to him after the death of his own dog, a chihuahua, last October.
