Covid today France, over 2 thousand infections and 55 deaths in 24 hours

The hospitalizations for Covid-19 in France are rising. At the moment there are 6,865 patients in hospital, of which 483 hospitalized in the last 24 hours. Yesterday they were 6,709 in the balance between income and expenses. Among the hospitalized, 1,141 are in intensive care, 121 of whom admitted in the last 24 hours. The data from Santé France also record 2,197 new infections and 55 deaths. Yesterday there were 8,547 cases, but it must be taken into account that after the weekend the figures are lower and lower. Last Monday the infections were 1,866. As for the vaccine, 76.2% of the total population received at least one dose and 74.6% also the second. The data on the increase in hospitalizations come on the eve of a new speech by President Emmanuel Macron on the health emergency, scheduled for tomorrow evening.
