‘Fast and Furious’: Vin Diesel implores Dwayne Jonson to return

CINEMA – This is called putting water in your wine. This Sunday, November 7, the American actor and star of Fast and Furious Vin Diesel took up pen on Instagram, where he shared a post asking Dwayne johnson to return to play in the famous action franchise.

“My little brother Dwayne, the time has come, blows the interpreter of Dominic Toretto on the social network, in the caption of a snapshot of the two heroes. The world awaits the final of Fast and Furious 10. ”

It was in September 2001 that the world first discovered Toretto’s team and their love for speed and sports cars. Last June, the 54-year-old actor announced in an interview with the American news agency AP that episodes 10 and 11 would be the last.

But now, The Rock does not want to be. He has, in the past, explained that he no longer wants to play in the saga. The relationship with Vin Diesel has been strained for several years, especially since the interpreter of Luke Hobbs described his colleague as “sissy” and “sissy” on the set. He hasn’t come back since Fast and Furious (2017) and the spin-off Hobbs and Shaw (2019).

“My children call you Uncle Dwayne”

Vin Diesel wants to put the pieces back together. “As you know, my kids at my house call you Uncle Dwayne,” he continues on Instagram. No party goes by without you exchanging wishes, but the time has come. The legacy awaits. ”

He adds: “I told you several years ago that I was going to keep my promise to Pablo. [Paul Walker, acteur décédé en 2013, NDLR]. I swore we would reach and do the best Fast for the final, which will be Fast and Furious 10. I say this for love, but you have to show yourself, don’t let the franchise stand still, you have a very important role to play. Hobbs cannot be played by any other. I hope you live up to it and fulfill your destiny. ”

While the ninth episode, F9, was released in theaters last July, the final will be cut into two parts. The last two films in the series are scheduled for 2023 and 2024.
