BRATISLAVA. The Parliamentary Committee on Defense and Security agreed with part of the opposition that the police intervention against anti-smugglers in recent days in Prievidza and Piešťany was legal.

Ministry of Interior Roman Mikulec after an extraordinary meeting of the committee, he declared that he was behind the police.

He stated that, according to the results of the inspection, there were no violations of laws and regulations.

The chairman of the Committee on Defense and Security, Juraj Krúpa (OĽaNO), said that he was a man who was being investigated in 17 offenses.
