Measures are not being observed: According to the Prime Minister, the government must act more forcefully – Topky.sk

Based on last week’s recommendations of the Council of Experts, the Prime Minister had several ministers prepare documents on how these recommendations could be put into practice. “The consensus is that we need to act more forcefully. It turns out that people are not complying with the measures, the COVID machine is set up well, but if it is not complied with as if it did not exist. We need to come up with decisions that will be more forceful in terms of compliance,” declared Heger.

The coalition council should also discuss the measures on Monday. The conclusions could be known at the next meeting of the Government of the Slovak Republic.

A consortium of experts proposes to restrict the movement of the unvaccinated in black districts and to consider compulsory vaccination against COVID-19 for selected population groups, similarly to other European Union countries. The council also recommends that only vaccinated people benefit from the pandemic PN paid for COVID-19. They also propose further tightening, such as the use of COVID passports to go to work from the red districts and a strong home office recommendation where possible.
