The district court in Piešťany sent into custody only one of the three opponents of the robes, who took care of the commotion in the Piešťany supermarket. The prevailing fear is that Matej (36) could continue the crime. The prosecutor also asked for custody for another man, but the judge did not take him into custody. He will be prosecuted at large, along with another man who was released even earlier, as the prosecutor no longer agreed with the proposal for his detention.

Men from the Nitra region are accused from the crime of rioting and from the attack on a public official. They face one, in the worst case, up to five years behind bars. Minister of Defense Jaroslav Naď revealed in the program Na telo that two of them are former professional soldiers. “Trained people who left the armed forces as part of the cleansing service today deliberately go from one store to another throughout Slovakia and provoke,” said the Minister.

In recent weeks, a group of anti-crayfish have been concentrating in stores and trying to shop without airway obstruction. For today, they even announced “retribution” on social networks for the three men mentioned above.

In the afternoon, only one small group of four without towels came to the store in Piešťany in the afternoon. Three women and one man ignored the call to cover their airways, so the police then asked them to identify them and settled the whole incident in peace. There were no riots or attacks on the police this time.

The police also deal intensively with people who threaten police officers or incite others to various acts of violence in connection with an incident on social networks. “We are investigating the criminal offenses of assaulting and inciting public officials. In the sense of the law, an offender is threatened with loss of liberty for up to three years for threatening a public official. In the case of incitement to commit a crime, the perpetrator can serve up to two years, “the spokeswoman added.
