The detention of these two men, whom they accused yesterday, is now being decided in a super-fast trial by the district court in Piešťany. The third man will be prosecuted at large, the prosecutor did not ask for his detention.

In connection with the Thursday (November 4) incident in the Piešťany supermarket, the police accused three men from the Nitra region aged between 32 and 40 of the offenses of attacking a public official and rioting. The police intervened against a group of people who refused to put on respirators in a supermarket in Piešťany and did not want to block access to the cash register for other shoppers. She was called by staff and the private security service, who were unable to resolve the situation with them. The police also had to use coercive measures during the intervention.
