BRATISLAVA. Member of Parliament and chairman of the Smer party Robert Fico thinks that journalists and investigators should be punished and convicted for leaking information from the files.

He said this in the program In Politics on TA3.

He added that he knows which policeman is behind the leak of recordings from the hunting lodge, where members of the Smer party met with lawyers of persons accused in well-known cases.

He thinks that in the current situation, the government should deal with more acute things, and he cited the consolidation of public finances or social tensions in the state as an example. “You are still just arguing with each other and not bringing reforms for the benefit of the people. We, as members of the Direction, are not voting for this,” Fico said.
