Coronavirus in Slovakia: 5338 new cases and 24 covid deaths – SME.sk

BRATISLAVA. PCR tests revealed 5,338 new cases of infection in Slovakia on Saturday coronavirus, laboratories examined 16,826 PCR samples. 958 people had a positive result of the antigen test, and 10,941 people tested this method in the past day.

This is reported by the National Center for Health Information.

Another 24 people were covered in Covid, and a total coronavirus pandemic in Slovakia has claimed 13,229 victims.

The total number of patients hospitalized with or suspected of coronavirus increased by 454 to 2,505.

Among hospitalized, 80.35% are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 183 patients at JIS, 185 people need the support of artificial lung ventilation.

Most new cases occurred in the Prešov Region (1,389), followed by the Košice Region (996), Žilinský (741), Trenčiansky (542), Bratislavský (538), Banskobystrický (505), Trnavský (391) and Nitriansky (236).

The total number of people vaccinated with the first dose vaccines there are 2,519,511 877 vaccinated in the previous day. The second dose of the vaccine has already been given to 2,406,463 people, and 392 people have been vaccinated the past day.

The total number of completed laboratory PCR tests so far is 4,077,453, of which 518,635 have been tested positively. The total number of Ag tests performed so far is 39,304,796, of which 426,987 persons have been tested positively.
