Already on December 4 in Ostrava on Oktagon 29 he will challenge the belt holder David Kozma. The organization confirmed the longer inflected information during Saturday’s Oktagon Prime 4 in Pardubice.

The champion of the prestigious foreign organizations Cage Warriors and M-1 or the opponent of Conor McGregor Ivan Buchinger (35 years, balance 39-7) will start the third match in Oktagon. In January, he won the lightweight belt after Ronald Paradeiser’s scalp, and defeated Vojt Barborík in the September epic battle for the title in the pen.

If he also wins over Cosmos, he will reach a historic milestone. No one in a major organization has been a champion in three weight categories. “If the pen weight beats me, it will be a bit of a shame,” the “Pink Panther” responds.

David Kozma (29, 28-11) is the longest reigning Octagon champion. In November 2018, he won the title against Gábor Boráros. Since then, he has defended Kristitofic, Matthew Kertesz and Leander “Apollo” Silva against Samuel “Pirate”. He lost the only one of the last 10 fights (in RCC).

He last fell at home with Peter “Monster” Prince in December 2017. The originally intended retaliation was prevented by the Prince’s broken nose, but most likely he will get a chance against the winner of the duel Kozma – Buchinger.

Vémol was replaced by Kincl

Patrik Kincl will replace the injured Carlos Vémol in the main match of Octagon 30. Against the holder of the temporary title, Samuel “Pirate” Krištofič, he fights for the honor of the rightful champion. The tournament will take place on December 30 at Prague’s O2 Arena.

Kincl makes his Oktagon debut. The last time he fought for the title in the weight balance in KSW against Robert Soldič was in September, in the 3rd round he won TKO. Previously, he lost out of 13 fights only in June 2018 with Vémol. He has a total balance of 24-10 (1).

Danish shark the new Oktagon champion

Filip Macek experienced déjá vu on Oktagon Prime 4. The second attempt to win the title in bantamweight took place according to the same scenario as the infamous duel against Tomáš Deák from September 2019.

Grimshaw, 39, entered the Octagon after two losses in Bellatore. Veteran Cage Warriors, where he lost to the latest UFC star Paddy Pimblett, is led by Olga Rubin, former world flyweight five and popular UFC veteran Brad Pickett.
