In Germany, a knife attack on a train in Bavaria leaves several injured – archyworldys

Several people were injured on Saturday (November 6) on an ICE train in Bavaria, Germany, in a knife attack in which the alleged perpetrator, a man, was arrested, local police said.

the German daily Bild reports three injured, including two seriously. None of the injured is in danger of death, a spokeswoman for the local police told Agence France-Presse. According to the newspaper, the perpetrator is a 27-year-old man who manifested psychological disorders in the train.

“This knife attack is horrible”, reacted the Minister of the Interior, Horst Seehofer. In a statement on Twitter, he added:

“I would like to thank everyone, especially the police and the train staff, for their courageous action, which made it possible to avoid even worse (…) The motive for the crime is still not clear and will now be determined . “

These facts occur in a tense context in Germany, faced in recent years with a double threat of terrorism, jihadist and right-wing extremist.
