Inflation premium: who will pay the € 100 and when? – Aveyron Press Center

The government clarified the contours of the inflation compensation during the Council of Ministers on Wednesday, November 3. Good news, you are eligible to receive the bonus of € 100. But who will pay it and when?

If you earn less than € 2,000 net per month you can claim the inflation compensation of 100 euros announced by Prime Minister Jean Castex at the end of October to counter the rise in the prices of electricity, gas or fuels. Unique, automatic and individual, it is paid, on the basis of income received from January to October 2021, without the beneficiary taking any action. Nonetheless, the government released this week practical details since the terms depend on your situation.

What timetable?

December 2021: private sector employees, self-employed workers, and scholarship students.
January 2022: State agents and operators, local authority agents, hospital agents, non-grant students receiving housing assistance, job seekers, recipients of social benefits and invalids.
February 2022: retirees.

Who pays the 100 euros?

If you are an employee, it is your employer.
If you are a self-employed person, it is Urssaf.
If you are retired, your pension fund will take care of it.
If you are a student, it’s the Crous.
If you are a job seeker, Pôle emploi makes the payment.
If you are a farmer, it is up to the Mutualité Sociale Agricole (MSA) funds to ensure payment.
If you benefit from social minima, the family allowance fund (CAF) will be responsible for giving you the allowance.

The government’s calendar.
