Richard Takáč, a member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic for Smer-SD, criticizes that the reforms arose “from the green table” in Bratislava and without any professional and social discussion. He claims that their party will not support either of them. According to him, it is important for reforms that they be approved and supported by both the coalition and the opposition, as well as the general public concerned.

Remišová considers it natural for reforms to be discussed in a coalition of four parties and for a common solution to be sought, because these are major systemic changes. “Everyone has slightly different priorities and perspectives and it needs to be agreed.” declared. According to her, Smer-SD will not support the reform, because the essence of Smer is that it wants to preserve the original state, she said.

Boris Kollár has a negative attitude towards reforms

In the case of possible mandatory vaccination of selected groups, Remišová cannot imagine how, for example, health care workers or carers who do not want to be vaccinated would be sanctioned. “We have few, we can’t afford to let them go. It does not support the introduction of an emergency situation, according to it, the specified rules in the COVID vending machine will suffice.

The government does not manage communication even during vaccination

Takáč perceives the helplessness of people who, according to him, were restricted last year, participated in comprehensive testing, and yet Slovakia had one of the highest mortality rates from COVID-19. “The government didn’t even manage to communicate with the vaccines. We’re the worst at that, too.” stated. According to him, the government is fully responsible for this situation. He rejects claims that Smer-SD or Robert Fico would tell people not to wear a veil or to be vaccinated. “We are in favor of volunteering when vaccinated,” He stated that Smer-SD supported laws that were supposed to help solve the pandemic.
