UN, Gozi in New York sees General Assembly president

The Secretary General of the European Democratic Party and Renew Europe MEP, Sandro Gozi, was received by the President of the UN General Assembly, Abdulla Shahid, at the United Nations headquarters in New York. During the meeting, Gozi and Shahid discussed general policy and the role of the European Parliament in supporting multilateralism, as well as the objective of building a bridge between the presidency of the General Assembly and the European Parliament on issues of common interest, in particular on climate and gender issues.
