Unvaccinated at a disadvantage: LOCKDOWN and only WORK with the TEST! – Pluska.sk

According to the council, the situation in Slovakia is starting to be alarming. We have much higher numbers of infected and hospitalized than last year, when a hard lockdown was already in place at this time. Today, most of Slovakia is more or less functioning normally.

There are currently 2,000 covid patients in hospitals, but there will be more than 3,000 in two weeks. The head of the Institute of Health Policy Matej Mišík confirmed that some hospitals in Prešov or Trstená have already overcome the highs from the second wave of the pandemic. In the current situation, we are approaching a point where hospitals will be completely inaccessible to patients with other diagnoses or even to the patients themselves. This week alone, we recorded record numbers of positives in Slovakia, with PCR and AG tests revealing more than 8,000 positives per day. About 27 people die of covid every day.

The consortium of experts therefore came up with a radical proposal to change the measures. The vaccinated and those who have overcome the covid will finally have more freedom in the black districts, on the contrary, the unvaccinated must prepare for harsh restrictions. “At the consul, we are very well aware of the legitimate dissatisfaction of all vaccinated people who long for freedom and want to live as promised by commercials. We feel that the restrictive measures should mainly affect people who have not been vaccinated. “ said council member Elena Prokopová. She added that unvaccinated experts do not want to be punished, but want to have a chance at a vacant hospital bed when infected.

Experts have proposed a ban on going out in the black districts every day from 5.00 am to 1.00 am, ie what was valid for the whole country last year. They could only go from home to work, to buy essentials or to see a doctor if they get sick.

At the same time, they would allow operations in the black districts – whether it be restaurants, fitness centers, cinemas, hotels – but only for the vaccinated and people who have overcome covid. “The current situation allows us to relax the measures for the vaccinated only if we have an absolute guarantee that the measures will be complied with.” added Prokopová. At the same time, they would introduce a rule that any burgundy or black operations could be open by 22.00 at the latest.

At the same time, they would keep the ban on holding mass events, such as weddings, parties, discos, celebrations, sittings, and social evenings with dancing, in black.
