“Two cars collided head-on in the accident, firefighters had to free two people from one. Despite rescue efforts, the people failed to recover and succumbed to their injuries on the spot. One person was injured in the other car. The road is currently closed in both directions.” states the Presidium.

According to the police on the social network, according to the information so far, the 66-year-old driver of a Peugeot 106 passenger car went in the opposite direction for unknown reasons and collided head-on with a Volkswagen Caddy passenger car driven by a 59-year-old man. “The driver of Peugeot, as well as his 68-year-old co-driver, suffered severe injuries on the spot. The driver of the second car, Bardejovčan, suffered preliminary minor injuries,” says police. The second class road on which the accident took place is currently impassable. The detour is through the villages of Hertnik, Šiba, Raslavice.
