Police ex-president Gašpar and others from the Očistec case will be released from custody – Denník N

Former police president Tibor Gašpar and others from the Purgec case will be released from custody on Friday after a year. The decision of the Supreme Court also applies to the executive of NAKA Petr Hrašek, the director of the corruption unit Róbert Krajmer and also the former police officers Marián Zetoch and Milan Mihálik.

“The Senate of the 5T Supreme Court, composed of Peter Hatal, Martin Bargel and Peter Štift, rejected the prosecutor’s complaint as an unfounded complaint at a closed session,” said court spokeswoman Alexandra Važanová.

The Senate concluded that the contested decision of the Specialized Criminal Court last week was issued in accordance with the law and did not find any legal reasons for the accused to extend the period of detention, which ends on November 5.

The reason for the detention was that they could not influence witnesses at large and continue the crime.
