A suspicious object was found in front of the building of the Presidium of the Police Force on Račianská Street.

In the morning, the police closed the area around the police presidium on Račianská Street in Bratislava. She did not let any cars or pedestrians pass, nor did she run on trams. The intervention was related to an abandoned suitcase found near the presidium. Pyrotechnicians also intervened on the spot, currently suspecting the suspect’s suitcase and the police closed the lock.

For safety reasons, traffic was limited in the section from Račianske mýto to the intersection with Jarošova Street.

The Bratislava Transport Company warned passengers on Bratislava public transport that the traffic on the line 3 trams between Blumentál and the Krasňany Depot was interrupted due to the Račianská closure, in the Račianske mýto – Pionierska section.

In the section, the carrier deployed an alternative bus service X3. “It runs along the route Blumentál, Šancová (stop Račianske mýto direction Trnavské mýto), Vajnorská, Kutuzovova, Kukučínova, Jarošova and Račianska,” the company said. In the opposite direction, there is alternative transport from Račianská via Jarošova, Vajnorská, Krížná, Legionárská to Mýtna and Blumentál.

In the vicinity of Račianská, columns in the area of Račianské and Trnavský tolls began to form for the police closure of the road.
