CORONAVÍRUS The number of those infected broke another pandemic record: The third wave culminates – Topky.sk

In Slovakia, 6,713 people with a positive PCR test were added last day, of which almost 67% were not vaccinated. Regarding antigen testing, 1,489 were positive, with more than 71% not yet vaccinated. Yesterday, 21,705 RT-PCR examinations and 26,900 antigen tests were completed.

The total number of completed laboratory PCR tests so far is 4,018,803, while 499,990 have been tested positively. The total number of Ag tests performed so far is 39,218,317, of which 421,461 persons have been tested positively.

The total number of people vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine is 2,513,527 and 1,317 were vaccinated in the previous day. The second dose of the vaccine has already been given to 2,310,101 people, and 1,311 people have been vaccinated the past day.

Most cases occurred again in the Prešov Region

The most positively tested RT-PCR tests were in the Prešov Region (1,326), followed by the Žilina Region (1,106), Košický (1,051), Banskobystrický (976), Bratislavský (690), Trenčiansky (619), Nitriansky (525) and Trnavský (420). There are 3,171 men and 3,542 women among them. The total number of positively tested men is 238,081 and women 261,909.

There are 179 patients on pulmonary ventilation

1,890 patients are hospitalized in hospitals, all of whom have confirmed the disease. Among hospitalized, 79.38% are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 148 patients at JIS, 179 people need the support of artificial lung ventilation.

The number of confirmed victims of pulmonary COVID-19 increased by 34 people. The total number of “Covid” deaths is 13,146 and the total number of “Covid” deaths is 2,539.
