Sputnik light vaccine, safe and with a strong immune response: the study

“The ‘Sputnik Light’ vaccine demonstrates a high safety profile and induces a strong antibody and cellular immune response.” This was highlighted by a study by the Gamaleya Center, published in ‘Lancet’ and promoted by the Russian Direct Investment Fund (Rdif). Most of the adverse reactions observed during the study “were mild or moderate. No serious adverse events were detected.” Sputnik Light “is a ‘one-shot’ vaccine that is with a single administration and has been authorized in more than 15 countries”, underlines the Gamaleya Center on its website which recalls how previous analyzes “have shown that Sputnik Light, administered by alone, it is 70% effective against Delta variant infection during the first three months after vaccination. ” The effectiveness of Sputnik Light, “as a booster against the Delta variant for other vaccines, should be close to that of the Sputnik V vaccine against the Delta variant: over 83% for infection and over 94% for hospitalization” .
