Police said the search was like looking for a needle in a haystack. The girl’s parents were last seen in a family tent around 1.30 a.m. local time on October 16 at Blowholes Shacks Camp about 900 miles north of Perth.

When they woke up, she was no longer in her part of the tent where she was with her younger sister. Police suspected she was abducted because the tent’s zipper was open to a height that the four-year-old girl did not reach herself.
