The Minister of Health Vladimír Lengvarský called on the people to use the possibility of vaccination and also to follow the set measures. On Wednesday morning, he talked to experts at the Public Health Office (ÚVZ) of the Slovak Republic about enforcing measures more severely. “The situation is stable so far, but we are approaching a point where we will have to take tougher action,” Minister of Health Vladimír Lengvarský talks about the development of the pandemic.

He suggested that the situation in the worst-performing districts could be “handled differently”. “This means, whether in the form of any stricter controls or measures to be taken at the level of regional hygienists,” he said. He announced that he would bring more information after the government meeting or next week.

Vaccines should be favored

Gröhling says that SaS is still convinced that vaccinees should be favored. According to him, vaccination is the only way to get out of this whole thing. “We have been talking for a long time that vaccinated people should be favored and that there should be some motivation. Our position does not change.” stressed the Minister of Education.
