SNCF: four to six hours late for 1,200 passengers on three Intercités on the Clermont-Ferr line – franceinfo

1,200 travelers from Clermont-Ferrand arrived in Paris on Tuesday, November 2 at night, about four to six hours late, franceinfo learned from SNCF. These travelers were on board three separate Intercités which were to reach the Paris-Bercy station. They finally finished their trip at the Gare de Lyon.

The first of these three Intercités first struck several wild boars between Gien and Briare (Loiret), causing a first delay of 1h30, reports France Bleu Pays d’Auvergne. It then suffered a power outage near Fontainebleau, which affected the other two trains.

The passengers of the first two Intercités were transhipped near Fontainebleau in a transilien coming from Melun. The third left behind this transilien. Passengers on the first two trains will be reimbursed up to 200%, SNCF said, and those on the third will be reimbursed up to 100%.

Tuesday morning, traffic slowed down considerably on the entire R line of the Transilien. This is the consequence of this electrical failure, which was repaired according to the SNCF. There are, however, no disruptions on the Paris-Clermont line.
