A skyscraper under construction has collapsed in Nigeria’s largest city, Lagos. Dozens of people may be trapped in the rubble. According to witnesses told by Reuters, there could have been around a hundred workers in the building.
The 25-storey building collapsed in the affluent Ikoyi district of Lagos. The city also lives in the surrounding area with an estimated 20 million people.
The cause of the collapse of the building is not yet clear. However, according to Reuters, the collapse of the construction under construction in Nigeria is not unusual.
