On Sunday (October 31), 1856 cases of infection with the new coronavirus (positivity 27.5 percent) were detected in Slovakia using 6733 RT-PCR tests. There were also 11 more victims.

Of the 1856 people with a positive PCR test, no more than 71 percent were vaccinated.
The most positively tested RT-PCR tests were in the Prešov region (447), followed by the Košice region (385), Žilinský (344), Bratislavský (209), Trenčiansky (151), Banskobystrický region (150), Nitriansky (109) and Trnavský ( 61). “There are 864 men and 992 women among them,” the ministry said.
There are 1413 patients hospitalized in hospitals, all of whom have confirmed the disease. Among hospitalized, 79.38 percent are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 136 patients at JIS, 135 people need the support of artificial lung ventilation.
The number of confirmed victims of pulmonary COVID-19 increased by 11 people. The total number of deaths “with COVID-19” is 13,045 and the total number of deaths “with COVID-19” is 2529.
Vaccination and antigen testing
The first dose of the vaccine is vaccinated at 2,500,711, and 267 were vaccinated the previous day. The second dose of the vaccine has already been given to 2,305,977 people, and 197 people have been vaccinated the past day.
Regarding antigen testing, 855 positives were added, more than 68 percent of which have not yet been vaccinated, the ministry added. 9588 antigen assays were performed.
