10:57 – CINTORÍNY / BRATISLAVA: In connection with the pandemic of the new coronavirus, the currently valid measures in accordance with the COVID vending machine will be observed in cemeteries and crematoria in Bratislava. “We call on visitors to cemeteries to strictly adhere to all measures in the interest of protecting their health as well as the protection of the people with whom they come into contact,” Katarína Rajčanová, a spokeswoman for the capital, told TASR. 10:54 – SVIDNÍK: The epidemiological situation in the Svidník district is not improving in connection with the COVID-19 disease. The Regional Office of Public Health (RÚVZ) in Svidník therefore calls on people to observe anti-epidemic measures not only during the All Saints’ Day. On Friday (October 29), 592 active cases of COVID-19 were registered in the Svidník district. (TASR)

10:13 – ANTIGEN TESTS: There were 691 positive cases out of 10,179 antigen tests. More than 73% of them have not been vaccinated so far.

10:12 – VACCINATION: The total number of people vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine is 2,500,386 and 379 were vaccinated the previous day. The second dose of the vaccine has already been given to 2,305,773 people, and 378 people have been vaccinated the past day.

10:10 – NEW CASES BY REGION: The most positively tested RT-PCR tests were in the Prešov Region (1,148), followed by the Košice Region (641), the Žilina Region (571), the Banská Bystrica Region (449), the Bratislava Region (429), the Trenčín Region (345), the Trnava Region (251) and the Nitra Region. (202). Among them are 1,905 men and 2,131 women.

10:05 – HOSPITAL: There are 1405 patients with COVID-19 in hospitals. The disease is confirmed in all of them. Among hospitalized, 79.38% are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 136 patients at JIS, 136 people need the support of artificial lung ventilation.

10:04 – DEATH: The number of confirmed victims of pulmonary COVID-19 in Slovakia increased by 16 people.

10:03 – NEW CASES: There were 4036 new cases, out of a total of 14,382 PCR tests performed. FROMmore than 68% were not vaccinated.
