Sadek’s condition is stabilized after the collapse, but serious: The family thanks the fans for their support – Športky.sk

BRATISLAVA – The health condition of the Slovak hockey player Boris Sádecký is stabilized but serious after the collapse in Friday’s IHL match on the Dornbirn ice. This was stated on Saturday by the vice-president of iClinic Bratislava Capitals Dušan Pašek.

The club brought an official opinion after consulting with the family of the 24-year-old striker. “Boris’s condition is stable, but serious. The necessary investigations are still ongoing. The club will not provide more detailed information at the moment due to the request of Boris Sádecký’s family. His family thanks all the fans for their support,” said Pasek.

After the collapse, Sádecký was taken to the hospital and the match ended prematurely. The situation occurred after the first third at 1: 0 for the home team. The president of the Bratislava club, Ivo Ďurkovič, stated on Friday night on the club Facebook: “Boris Sádecký is stabilized in the intensive care unit. His condition is constantly consulted with the attending physician.” Domestic Bulldogs also responded to the social network: “My thoughts are with Bratislava Capitals.”

Following this event, the Bratislava club postponed Saturday’s Val Pusterie ice game indefinitely.
