LONDON. British Queen Elizabeth II decided to give on the advice of doctors and the next “at least two weeks” will rest. He informed about it on Friday Buckingham palace. The report was provided by AFP.

“Following the recent advice that the queen should rest for a few days, the doctors advised Her Majesty to continue to rest for at least the next two weeks,” the palace wrote in an official statement.

According to the published text, the 95-year-old queen will continue to perform “undemanding work duties” during this period, including virtual meetings.

The British queen will not personally attend the forthcoming UN climate summit (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland, as originally planned. The UN Climate Conference will take place from 31 October to 12 November.

According to Sky News television, the queen will not even take part in the annual memorial event at the Royal Albert Hall on 13 November.

The Queen spent the night in a London hospital last week. Her stay came at a time of general concern about her health.
