The G20 countries must quickly find a solution for the mutual recognition of green passes, vaccination certificates against Covid, Putin underlined in his speech by videoconference. “We suggest asking the G20 health ministers to rapidly develop a solution for the mutual recognition of national vaccination certificates,” said Putin, quoted by the Sputnik news agency. The Russian leader also called for the World Health Organization (WHO) to speed up the decision-making process on the safety of vaccines and anti-Covid drugs.In addition, the continuous mutations of the coronavirus require a mechanism that allows for rapid adaptation of vaccines. “As the virus continues to mutate, we need to work out mechanisms for a systematic and rapid update of vaccines,” Putin said.
