Coronavirus in Slovakia: 5,142 new cases and 18 covid deaths – SME.sk

BRATISLAVA. They performed 5,142 cases of infection in Slovakia on Friday through 17,638 PCR tests coronavirus – 69, 70 percent of them were not vaccinated.

This is the second highest daily increment since the beginning of the pandemic. More cases from PCR testing were reported only on 30 December.

Regarding antigen testing, 1,018 were positive, with almost 69 percent not vaccinated.

There were 18 victims of covid. The total number of “covid” deaths is thus 13,018 and the total number of “covid” deaths is 2,525.

The most positive PCR tests were in the Prešov Region (1,360), followed by the Banská Bystrica Region (780), the Košice Region (750), the Žilina Region (733), the Bratislava Region (445), the Trenčín Region (415), the Nitra Region (347) and the Trnavský Region (312). ).

1,402 patients are hospitalized in hospitals, all of whom have confirmed Covid-19 disease. Among hospitalized, 79.38 percent are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 138 patients in the ICU, 134 people need the support of artificial lung ventilation.

On Friday, they vaccinated with the first dose of anti-antidote vaccines 2,282 people, the total number vaccinated with the first dose is 2,499,969. 2,391,781 people received the second dose, 3,306 people were vaccinated the past day.
