Three serious reports of unregistered Sputnik V vaccine

Another seven serious effects were with vaccines with unnamed names, the institute requested information. ŠÚKL also recorded another six serious reactions after the vaccine. The Office requested further information.

ŠÚKL closed two more deaths in connection with vaccination

On Thursday (October 28), the State Institute for Drug Control (ŠÚKL) closed two more deaths in connection with vaccination to prevent COVID-19. As the institute stated on its website, the first case was an already publicized case of a man aged 67 years vaccinated with the Comirnaty vaccine from the Pfizer / BioNTech consortium. The second case involved a 68-year-old woman who had been vaccinated with Vaxzevria.

The State Institute stated that in the case of a man who was supposed to be a former deputy Jaroslav Paška, given the time connection with vaccination, it cannot be ruled out that vaccination contributed to the development of complications of the patient’s underlying disease and subsequent death. Therefore, ŠÚKL closed the causal connection as possible.

In the second case of a woman’s death, the cause of death determined by autopsy was related to blood clotting disorders. “Given the conclusions of the pathological-anatomical autopsy and the time course of vaccination, a causal relationship between vaccination and death was assessed as probable.” approached.

He added that in the event that death occurs in the temporal context after vaccination, the Office for Health Care Supervision (ÚDZS) will order an autopsy, the results of which provide primary evidence of the cause of death. In the case of reported deaths, ŠÚKL closely cooperates with the Section of Forensic Medicine and Pathological Anatomy of the ÚDZS.

The Ministry of Health has made it possible to register for the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine officially on Wednesday, October 13, in the early evening. Vaccination with the third dose is voluntary and is intended for immunocompromised patients.

Registration for the third dose is launched from Tuesday

As of Tuesday (October 26), registration for the third dose was launched for people over the age of 55, but also for patients with chronic diseases or people at risk. If the invitation to the third dose is given to people who feel they should not go to it, they should contact their GP.
