Another disaster on the road: R1 is impassable! Two accidents in a few minutes – Topky.sk

The accident occurred on the R1 expressway in the direction from Nitra to Trnava for 37 kilometers in the cadastre of the village of Lehota.

Police have identified inattention as the culprit of the threatening-looking crash. “The truck driver probably noticed the parked car of the expressway maintenance parked in front of him with warning lights and markings and crashed into it,” stated.

Luckily, no one with maintenance staff was in the vehicle at the time. The truck driver was slightly injured in the collision. However, the road is impassable after the accident. The diversion is led through R1A and the villages of Lehota and Báb. Circumstances, degree of fault and cause are under investigation.

The first incident was followed by another. As the firefighters pointed out, a few minutes after the first accident, there was another collision of two cars in the column, during which firefighters from Selenc intervene.
