Slovan football player David Hrnčár dyed his hair white before Sunday’s league match against Liptovský Mikuláš. Coach Vladimír Weiss should have told him that he would not play like this under his leadership.

The portal informed about it ŠPORT.sk, which was to be confirmed by several sources from the club. The situation was to come during a team lunch before the match.

As the source writes, Hrnčár was among the Lipták substitutes, the coach sent him to the stands after warming up.

On Tuesday he trained with the A-team, but on Wednesday he was not nominated for the match of the 4th round of the Slovak Cup against Slavia TU Košice (Slovan advanced after the victory 5: 0).

Twenty-three-year-old Hrnčár trained with a reserve, Alen Mustafič played in his position as the right defender. Bosniak played for one minute since mid-August.

Hrnčár refused to comment on the situation, Slovan sent the following opinion to the website:

“The question of nominating players for a match, line-up and substitution is fully within the competence of the A-team coach.

The coach has his own criteria on the basis of which he evaluates which player he nominates for the match and which he does not. It is his sovereign right, in which no one from the club interferes with him or will interfere.
