Cruise ship from Germany is quarantined in Vienna, 80 people have a coronavirus – SME.sk

VIENNA. A cruise ship from Germany with 178 people on board, quarantined, is moored in the Austrian capital Vienna. The reason is that 80 of them were tested positive for the new one coronavirus. The ORF station informed about it on its website on Thursday, referring to the Vienna Medical Crisis Staff.

A cruise ship with tourists sailed from the town of Passau on the border with Austria and is currently located in Vienna at the Nussdorf lock on the Danube Canal.

According to a spokeswoman for the crisis staff, after the symptomatic cases of covid appeared on the ship, all the people on board took the tests. The crisis staff is now looking for a solution to transport passengers stranded in Vienna back to Passau.
