The positively tested deputy was also present at the parliamentary election on Thursday (October 28), Michaela Jurcová, the director of the Department of Communication with the Media and the Public of the Office of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, made clear. “After consulting the regional hygienist, it was decided to cancel today’s meeting,” she told TASR, saying MPs were advised to go for an antigen test.

MEPs are not due to meet again until Tuesday. They planned earlier that they would not hold a meeting on Friday (October 29). The reason is the upcoming holidays.
