Member of the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic Romana Tabák (OĽANO) already knows the punishment for swimming in the Tatra mountain stream. She received a fine of 500 euros, which she immediately paid, the portal informs topky.sk.

“I take it humbly, I honestly did not expect such a high fine. However, it is a lesson for me and I believe that others will learn from it and will be careful how to behave in the national park, “the MP writes on her Facebook.

Tobacco published a photo on the social network of a purchase in a stream in the territory of TANAP, marked Studenovodské waterfalls as the place, where the strictest degree of protection applies. She then stated that she had mislabeled the place.

The case began to be dealt with by the Slovak Environmental Inspectorate, which received two complaints. One suggestion for the investigation of swimming came from the Administration of the Tatra National Park, the other, civic, received the inspection electronically.

The deputy considers it correct that her bathing was handled by the SIŽP. “I don’t think that I should be favored in any way just because I am a member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic,” she said earlier.
