G20, consorts of the leaders between the Colosseum and the Sistine Chapel

A visit to the Colosseum with a walk to the Imperial Forums, the Sistine Chapel, the Capitoline Museums and the Borghese Gallery. This is what the program currently foresees for the spouses of the G20 leaders who will meet in Rome at the Nuvola all’Eur on Saturday and Sunday. On the 30th morning at 10, according to Adnkronos, for Jill Biden and Brigitte Macron, Carrie Symonds, the pregnant wife of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and Heiko von der Leyen, the husband of the President of the European Commission, among others, there will be a guided tour of the Colosseum and the Forums. Then, at noon the spouses of the G20 leaders – the wife of the President of the European Council Charles Michel, Amelie Derbaudrenghien, and the South Korean first lady Kim Jung Sook are also in Rome – will move for an aperitif and lunch at the Casino del Bel Breath at Villa Doria Pamphilj, the representative office of the government. In the afternoon there will be a visit to the Sistine Chapel, where they will be welcomed by the director of the Vatican Museums, Barbara Jatta. In the evening, first ladies and first husbands will participate in the dinner offered at the Quirinale by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella for the leaders of the G20. Sunday 31, for the spouses there are two options: either a visit to the Borghese Gallery or the Capitoline Museums and the Torlonia marble collection: in the first case the aperitif and lunch will be at the Casina Valadier, in the second case at the Caffarelli Terrace. Then, free afternoon, while the leaders of the G20 will hold press conferences at the conclusion of the summit.
