The tone goes up a notch between Paris and London. France, in conflict with the United Kingdom over post-Brexit fishing licenses, will soon announce retaliatory measures. And some of these measures will come into force on Tuesday, November 2, unless the UK changes policy by then, government spokesman Gabriel Attal said on Wednesday October 27. “What we are seeing today is that almost 50% of the licenses to which we are entitled are missing.
