On the evening of Tuesday, October 26, 2021, Etienne Guyot, prefect of the Occitanie region, indicated that the expedited deportation procedure of the squatted house in Toulouse is triggered.

A procedure “which may lead to the evacuation of the premises”

Georges Denatis, 84, owner of the squatted house at 112 route de Launaguet, may see the end of the tunnel. He “seized, on Tuesday, October 26, the prefect, who immediately triggered the accelerated expulsion procedure ”indicates the prefecture.

State services continue by specifying that it can ” lead if necessary to the evacuation of the premises, as provided by law ”.

Squatted three times

This is the third time that the house has been occupied by squatters. The owner’s daughter, Marie-Ange, was in front of 112 route de Launaguet, Tuesday, accompanied by more than ten supporters.

In front of the gate, she said to herself “disgusted.” I can’t go back to my house anymore they broke down my house. The squatters are protected by the law, which is inadmissible and unfair ”.

Marie-Ange Denatis is due to go to Paris this Wednesday. “I do all the shows, we have to talk about it, really change the laws, she announced. There is a law that has been passed stating that we can fire squatters. But it is not applied in fact. I don’t know why we are making laws in France… ”
