In Slovakia, they confirmed 4,746 positive PCR tests performed on Tuesday (October 26). More than 70 percent of them were not vaccinated.

This is the highest increase since the beginning of this year, more precisely on January 5, when tests revealed 4,959 infected.

The coronavirus claimed another 22 victims.

There are 1,352 patients with or suspected COVID-19 in hospitals. Of these, almost 79 percent are not vaccinated at all or only with a single dose in a two-dose vaccination schedule.

There are 121 patients at JIS, 127 people need the support of artificial lung ventilation.

Antigen testing

892 people had a positive antigen test, more than 75 percent were not vaccinated.

Vaccination

The first dose of the vaccine was given to 1,457 people yesterday, and the second dose of the vaccine was given to 1,326 people.
