Fico wants to discuss wiretapping with the heads of GP and ÚŠP – Pluska.sk

He wants the Minister of the Interior Roman Mikulec (OĽANO), the head of the General Prosecutor’s Office (GP) of the Slovak Republic Maroš Žilinka and the head of the Office of the Special Prosecutor’s Office (ÚŠP) Daniel Lipšic to come to the meeting to discuss this topic.

He reiterated that he would continue to meet with lawyers and talk about the injustice which, in his opinion, is happening to nominees and representatives of Smer-SD. “I have met and will meet. I will do it in such a way that no police can watch and intercept me. I am a politician who has a very clear priority on his agenda. I am talking about the injustice and illegality that is going on against opposition nominees, representatives Smer-SD and towards people who are connected with Smer-SD, “ announced at a Fico press conference. He added that it is his duty to meet with lawyers and obtain information. He made it clear that all the public reads in the media from the transcripts is what he reports at press conferences. He declared that none of the participants in the meeting had committed a crime.

When voting on Tuesday after 5 pm, Smer-SD wants to ask the club of the We are Family movement so that they can include a new item on this meeting on behalf of the three clubs with the topic of eavesdropping and watching the opposition in Slovakia. Fico also wants to inform the European Commission about this incident. According to him, the state wanted to follow him and invented a story about poaching. He considers the whole matter illegal, but does not see the point in filing a criminal complaint. He welcomed the fact that the Attorney General should have his escape from the file checked for criminal offenses of abuse of power by a public official or obstruction of justice.

On Monday (October 25), the prosecutor’s office informed that the supervisory prosecutor of the ÚŠP had supplemented his proposal to extend the detention of the accused within the Purifier action with video-audio recordings. These are intended to confirm the efforts of several people in politics, business and advocacy to influence the prosecution of the most serious criminal cases. Subsequently, videos were publicized showing how Fico, the defender of the accused police ex-president of Tibor G. Marek Para, former Minister of the Interior Robert Kaliňák, businessman Miroslav Bödör and son of Tibor G. met at the cottage.
