Rome, official renewal of Mkhitaryan

Roma has formalized the contract renewal of the Armenian striker Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The club announced it on Twitter. The player has extended his contract with the Club until 30 June 2022. The player arrived at Roma in the summer of 2019 and has collected a total of 73 appearances and 23 goals for the Giallorossi shirt. “In these two years, Roma has conquered me, as a team and as a city, thanks to the incredible passion of the fans”, commented the Armenian footballer. “The company’s ambition is very high and I am really proud to be able to give my contribution to face the challenges that await us next season. Daje Roma! ”. In 2020-21 Mkhitaryan scored 14 goals and provided 13 assists. “We are happy that Mkhitaryan has decided to continue his experience at Roma,” said Tiago Pinto, General Manager of the sports area. “As he has already shown on the pitch, his qualities will be very important to help the team achieve their goals next season.”
