Also this year, in full compliance with the rules relating to the contrast of Covid 19, the summer sailing, rowing and canoeing courses organized for children aged 8 to 16 years by the Italian Naval League (LNI) in the National Nautical Centers of Sabaudia, Ferrara restart (Lake of Nations) and Taranto. The courses offered cover the period from 8 June to 30 August, lasting about 10 days and offer the possibility both to children who do not live near the sea, but also to those who see the sea every day without practicing it with assiduity, to get in touch with the marine or lake environment, to know it, love it and respect it through the practice of one or more aquatic sports disciplines. During the period of attendance the boys will be followed with passion and professionalism by the instructors of the LNI, in collaboration with the Navy and the interested federations. There are several opportunities, but for everyone the possibility of living in the open air and in contact with nature, following the rhythm of days marked by moments of theory, practice and fun always with “the sea at the center”. All elements that combine to refine the knowledge of the marine environment with particular attention to navigation with the means in use, but also notions relating to environmental protection, first aid and meteorology. In order to participate, it is necessary to view the competition notice published on the LNI website, www.leganavale.it, and from where it is possible to fill in the application form online. “We must experience this moment of extraordinary restart after the pandemic and the sea represents an opportunity for everyone, to know and experience in particular for the new generations ”, said Admiral Donato Marzano, President of the Italian Naval League.
